Add a splash of sweetness to your fruit-themed celebration with this adorable DIY strawberry backdrop — a fun, colorful way to make your party decor look fresh-picked and picture-perfect!

Supplies:
2 packs of these Four leaf clover paper flower garlands
Cream colored cardstock
Twine
Optional:
Paint
Letter stencils
Step 1:
Using a backdrop stand or curtain rod, attach a long piece of twine to the desired length. Leave one ending untied. Take each four leaf clover garland and string them along the twine using the cardboard loop or the attached string. Continue until all garland have been strung.

Step 2:
To make the green leaves for the top, I used my Cricut machine. If you have one, here is a file you can use. If you don't have one you can cut them out by freehand or use this file as a stencil. I cut about 9 leaves. I made mine about 24 inches long and 11 inches wide. Glue the leaves together. Starting with one in the center and moving out/down from there, similar to a daisy. Wait until you are ready to display the backdrop to attach the leaves (Step 5).

Step 3:
Now lets make the seeds. Again, I cut these out using my Cricut but you can also free hand these or use this file as a stencil. Next, randomly glue the seeds to the garland. I did not go all the way down because I was using this behind a table but if this is a photo backdrop I would have continued to the bottom.

Step 4:
This step is to make the optional banner. Using the burlap garland you can create any sign you want. I made this one for our fruit themed summer pool party but you could use any phrase. For example:
Two Sweet, Berry 1st Birthday or just Happy Birthday. For the letters I cut them out of iron-on with my Cricut. If you do not have one, you can purchase some letter stencils and paint them instead! To make the banner 3 layers, cut the string for each word and retie together or just leave as a long one, both would look great!

Step 5:
Displaying the backdrop should be done against a wall, door or window for best results. I secured mine to our folding glass doors using command hooks. Tie each end of the twine to the command strip with the opening facing up. I like to use the clear plastic ones like these. I would place them every 6 inches to hold the banner up securely. You can also secure them to a curtain rod. Now take the leaves and drape them over the top of the banner so that it folds over both sides. If it is windy you may need to tape them to the backdrop on the backside.

Step 6:
This step is optional for the banner. To secure the banner I used command strips again and secured them to the glass between the garland.
