We're So Plaid You're Here Christmas Party
Every year we have a family Christmas party with some of our friends. Last year we all wore pajamas, which of course the kids loved! The theme was "Plaid" as I wanted to coordinate with our family's pajamas. Here are the party details:
CLOTHING: Plaid clothing is key. I found some matching pajamas for the whole family and pets at Target. If they are no longer available, these from Amazon will work great! Plaid socks for guests to wear are from Old Navy. They are so soft and cozy! They have adults and kid sizes. These were also favors for them to take home.
TABLEWARE:
Plaid plates & napkins, serving trays, and other table decor are perfect. I let the guests take the mugs home as party favors and reminders of the fun they had. If you can't find mugs, these paper cups from Amazon match well.
I placed plaid scrapbook paper & sticker letters for the Cocoa & Kisses sign you can find these at either Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
ACTIVITIES:
Gingerbread houses and candy for the decorating contest were from Target. I purchased the already built houses for time saving purposes.
Christmas Family Feud: This is a favorite that we will do for years to come. We had a prize for the winning family. This super fun game is purchased from teacherspayteachers.com
We also played this candy cane pick up. Which was a hilarious game!
Ornament Craft: Click here for instructions.
Gift exchange: All our kids did a gift exchange amongst themselves. They enjoyed being secret Santa to their friends! You can use namedrawing.com to randomly draw names for each person to buy a gift for.
May your family have a very Merry Christmas and so much fun making memories!
